Biography

Stephanie McKinney is a civil litigation attorney specializing in premises liability and bodily injury. She graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in legal studies from Florida Gulf Coast University, where she was also inducted in to the Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society. Stephanie continued her studies at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, earning her Juris Doctor with a concentration in litigation.

During law school, Stephanie was a member of national teams for both Moot Court and Mock Trial, representing her law school at the prestigious Duberstein National Moot Court Competition in New York. She served on the Moot Court Executive Board and received book awards in Trial Advocacy, and Appellate Advocacy, Moot Court. Additionally, she is a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society. Prior to joining St. Denis & Davey, Stephanie accumulated 17 years of legal experience as a paralegal and law clerk with a national firm, specializing in insurance defense, subrogation, product liability, premises liability, first-party property, commercial litigation, construction litigation, and creditor's rights.

Stephanie, a mother of twins, is herself an identical twin. She spent her childhood on a farm in the Midwest which instilled a strong work ethic. Nowadays, in her free time, Stephanie enjoys exercising and competing in CrossFit and weightlifting competitions. She is a Level 1 certified CrossFit coach.
